Next Generation NCLEX® (NGN)

  • The NGN assesses RN & LPN candidates’ clinical judgment skills with the goal of improving nurse preparedness and patient outcomes

  • Partial credit scoring is introduced, as well as new unfolding cases and standalone item types that feature new question formats 

  • New item types include extended multiple response, extended drag and drop, cloze (drop-down), enhanced hot spot, grid/matrix, as well as bowtie and trend standalone items
