Hone your interpersonal communication skills with the five, easy-to-navigate scenarios on this CD. Working through each scenario several times will give you the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately to difficult interpersonal situations you will encounter in your healthcare career.

Each scenario presents a series of video interactions between a healthcare professional and a patient. At each decision point, you decide how to react by selecting from a menu that offers three possible responses.

After you select a response, listen to an experienced narrator explain why the option you selected was “best,” “acceptable,” or "unacceptable". Keep trying until you select the “best” choice and watch the scenario unfold.

Work through each scenario several times. Watch the “best” response repeatedly. Practice the techniques before working with patients. Be prepared to provide the best healthcare!
