• A Desk Copy is one furnished to an instructor, free of charge, who teaches the course(s) in which the book/software was adopted.
• An On-Approval Copy is a book/software sent to a faculty member accompanied or followed by an invoice or bill requesting payment or return of the book/software within 30 days. An On-Approval Copy becomes a Desk Copy upon adoption. All invoice charges are cancelled once the adoption is confirmed.

When can I expect my request to arrive?
F. A. Davis offers a variety of shipping options to accommodate our customers' needs. Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground and take between 5 to 10 business days. If you need a review copy or an order more quickly, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
